Rock is at the root of my brand.
As I understood that rock exists in everything from music to fashion to thought, and
at the same time, I started to wonder what rock is.
I can’t define it, so through fashion, I decided to create and express shapeless rock as a form that I think of.
This is my policy.
Just as rock gave me a piercing sensation, I want to give that sensation through fashion.
I want to be a Rock’n Roller who is absorbed in pursuing fashion.

About leather
RYØKI SAWAIでは革を使用します。
皮革には動物愛護的観点の問題やサステナビリティについての問題があります。
個々それぞれに考えはありますが合皮を使えば本当に良いのかという点について
私は必ずしもそうでは無いと思います。
皮は私たち人間の大切な栄養源となる食肉からの副産物です。
その大切な副産物を廃棄される事なく利用することこそが環境維持に繋がると思います。
また革は永く着ることができ、使うほどに味が出てくるので持続性にも優れています。
革と共に日々を過ごし、寒さを防いだり、時には身を守ってくれる
どんなものより愛情が持てる素材だと私は思います。
これらの点から私は限りある資源である革を使用する事を続けていきたいと思っています。

In my brand, we use leather.
Leather has issues about animal welfareperspectives and sustainability
These are issues that we as designers should take seriously.
Each of us has their own ideas, but I don’t think it’s always the case when it comes to whether synthetic leather is really good.
Leather is a by-product of meat, which is an important source of nutrition for us humans.
I think that using the important by-products without discarding will help maintain the environment.
In addition, leather can be worn for a long time, and the more you use it, the better it becomes, so it has excellent durability.
I think it's the most affectionate material to spend every day with leather, to protect against the cold and sometimes to protect yourself.
From the above, I would like to continue using leather, which is a limited resource.
